We’ll be running a similar workshop in February 2015, so watch this space!

The People’s Print were thrilled to be invited to speak at the international Fespa Digital Textile Design in Milan this week. Full of great speakers ranging form all of areas of the industry. Our topic was ‘Print Power’ – Consumer Centred Design Systems for Digital Textiles, looking at young entrepreneurial companies that let the consumer do the designing while they do the making. We set the scene of Consumer Centred Design and was followed by Spoonflower as the commercial example of it success. Not only providing a brilliant platform to design and print your own fabrics but also building communities and conversations to support their making.
